Good morning scholars, This is a reminder that dual enrollment registration at Wallace Community College is open for the Spring 2023 term. Requirements for new students: 1. Be in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade 2. Have 2.0 Cumulative Unweighted GPA for technical/ have 2.5 Cumulative Unweighted GPA for academic courses 3. Complete Application for Admission 4. Complete DE Approval form with parents and counselor 5. Submit copy of photo ID (to counselor) 6. Submit copy of ACT scores if taking English or Math courses (to counselor) For returning dual enrollment students, the only dual enrollment paperwork that is required is the completed Statement of Eligibility form and the Program Agreement Form. The deadline to submit applications and all paperwork is December 9th. Statement of Eligibility form and Program Agreement form are available in the front office.

Attention Parents and Guardians, WCPSS will be delayed by one hour on today Wednesday, November 30, 2022, to ensure safe transport of students and travel of staff. School will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Dual enrollment registration for Coastal Alabama Community College has been extended to Wednesday, November 30th. Courses that are still open as of today: ART100 - Art Appreciation SPH107 - Fundamentals of Public Speaking MUS101 - Music Appreciation PSY200 - General Psychology ECO232 - Principles of MicroEconomics CHD100 - Intro of Early Care and Education of Children (one course of three-course certificate in Child Development) OAD125 - Word Processing (sub for OAD103; part of our Administrative Medical / Office Specialist and Administrative Legal Office Specialist certificate) CIS146 - MicroComputer Applications (part of our Computer Software Specialist 24 cr hr certificate) OAD133 or BUS215 - Business Communications (also part of our Computer Software Specialist certificate) PRL101 - Intro to Paralegal Studies (part of our Paralegal-Basic certificate, one of three courses)

Wilcox Central High School's free clothing drive scheduled for today has been rescheduled to Thursday, December 1st from 3:30-5:30.

Attention Parents and Guardians, Due to anticipated severe weather/flooding later this afternoon/evening, the WCPSS will dismiss at 12:45 p.m. today. This further ensures that buses will safely transport our students home in a timely manner.
