The following WCHS Scholars participated in today's Youth Summit on Racial Healing and Reconciliation. The Southern Rural Black Women's Initiative organized the leadership summit for our Student Ambassadors. Our young school leaders participated in friendly discussions involving race in America. One of the goals of our Ambassador Program is to prepare our students for life beyond high school, a life of corporate citizenry as they become successful adults. Our ambassadors are the next generation of entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders. This type of forum will achieve our goals of preparing them for those roles by being a friendly atmosphere to approach a challenging subject free of judgment and guilt. Not only will they learn about each other, but they will learn how to approach difficult issues appropriately in the future, thus preparing them to be our leaders of tomorrow. Jag News! Starting Monday, January 23, 2023, senior citizens age 55 years and older can purchase tickets for home games only each Monday for that week, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Senior citizens will only be allowed to purchase two tickets per game. This change is only in effect until the last regular season home game on February 3, 2023. You will still have the option to purchase tickets on GoFan.com. Thank you & Go Jags!
