Diversity in Business Bridge Program will focus on academic, social, and leadership skills essential to success as a business major and professional. Students will engage in sessions about various business areas such as marketing, management and finance, and participate in experiential activities. They will also learn how to set goals and gain financial literacy. Moreover, students will build social and professional networks with other students, faculty, staff, and business professionals. After successfully completing the program, students admitted to The University of Alabama will be eligible for financial support in the Culverhouse College of Business. The program is designed for students from historically marginalized groups (i.e., African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American) who are underrepresented in business and are interested in learning about a business career. They must be rising seniors attending an Alabama High School to apply to this program. The application deadline is May 15th, 2021. The Bridge Program will be virtual June 14-18 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. We will hold an optional campus orientation on Saturday, June 12th at 9:00 a.m. The DBBP Program will follow UA and Culverhouse safety guidelines, protocols, and restrictions.
