10/5 - All 10th grade scholars will take the PreACT test. Students must report to school no later than 7:45 am.
10/5 - Wilcox Central High School will host a FAFSA completion workshop to provide tips and answer questions regarding the application at 3:00.
10/7 - On Friday, students may wear jeans and pink shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
10/8 - is Picture Day at J.E. Hobbs. Students may wear regular clothes.

Don’t miss the WCPSS 2021-22 Backpack give away that will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Wilcox Central High School. Bring proof of Covid vaccination to participate in the drawing.
Camden School of Arts and Technology Football 2021-2022
The Camden School of Arts and Technology Middle School football coaching staff would like to welcome and are proud of all student-athletes for upcoming 2021-2022 Baby Jaguars football season and program. All potential student-athletes seventh and eighth grade who are interested in participating in football this upcoming season we ask that you get physicals as soon as possible. Also, we ask each of you to have complete all other forms (concussion, participation) and set up dragonfly accounts to input all documentation. We are looking forward to starting practices on August 23, 2021. Please make sure to provide updated emergency contact information.

Urgent message for 8th grade VIRTUAL students:
One of the Alabama State Department of Education requirements for 8th grade students is to complete a four-year plan prior to entering the 9th grade. A four-year plan allows students to personalize their high school experience, incorporate classes that will lead to their future college major and career, and—perhaps most importantly—ensure that they graduate from high school on time. Bring your fully charged laptops. This must be complete before entering 9th grade.
Students will complete plans on NEXT WEEK. They were sent an email with dates and times specific for them on this morning. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD'S EMAIL for their schedule to come.

The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is working with the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) to make P-EBT cards available to qualifying families, as the program has been extended and modified under CARES 2.
Children who attended a school participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and received free or reduced meals for breakfast or lunch — and subsequently missed these meals due to school closures, may be eligible for P-EBT.
P-EBT cards will be mailed directly to qualifying students' homes beginning in May 2021. Parents, please contact your child’s school to verify that all contact information you have on file at the school is correct to avoid any delays in receipt of the P-EBT cards.
